How Much Compensation Can I Expect?

This is the question probably uppermost in every claimants mind, and why not? If you have a genuine claim, you want what's yours, MONEY! CASH!

There are usually two aspects to an award; General Damages for the actual injury or injuries you suffered and Special Damages to cover such things as loss of earnings or out-of-pocket expenses you may have incurred.

The list below gives an indication of the current level of General Damages you can expect to receive for the injuries specified. The figures are just that, general. They have been derived by referring to awards that the Courts have made for similar injuries in the past (known as precedents), and by referring to "The Judicial Studies Board Guidelines".

Please Note that not even your solicitor will be able to advise you on the precise amount you can expect to receive in your particular situation. It will depend on your particular circumstances and the precise extent of your injuries.

Simply click on any of the listed injury type below to find out your possible award;

Arm Injuries

Back Injuries

Chest Injuries

Ear and Hearing Injuries

Elbow Injuries

Facial Injuries

Feet Injuries

Hand Injuries

Head (and Hair) Injuries

Industrial Injuries

Injuries to Internal Organs

Knee Injuries

Leg Injuries

Neck Injuries

Pelvic and Hip Injuries

Psychiatric Injuries

Shoulder Injuries

Teeth Injuries

If your injury isn't listed above, not to worry, your solicitor will be able to give you a general idea of the extent of your possible award when you speak to him/her. In the mean-time, to find out if you even have a valid claim, simply complete our 30-Second Claim Form now.
